VALLEY JR. WARRIORS - JUNIORS
Giving Back: Warriors attend Autism Eats

This past weekend the Valley Jr. Warriors attended the Autism Eats Annual Brunch with Santa. This marks the second year the Jr. Warriors attended this event. The event was sponsored by the Lawrence Police Department and held at Claddagh Pub in Lawrence, MA. This event like all Autism Eats events is entirely autism family friendly and all behaviors are welcome.

Current Jr. Warrior, Anthony Beaulieu, and his family, have attended Autism Eats events for multiple years.

“My brother, Joseph, has autism,” Anthony Beaulieu said, “About 4 years ago, the organization was created to build awareness for autism and to help those family come together.”

Autism Eats is a national organization that provides autism-friendly non-judgmental environments for family dining, socializing and connecting with others who share similar joys and challenges.

“This event is important for my family and the community because it helps people better understand what autism is,” Beaulieu said. “My teammates were able to interact, and it helped in building confidence for the younger kids with autism.”

“We always say One Team, One Family” Beaulieu said, “And this event really proved that. It was a great to see my teammates help serve the community and build relationships with the kids.”
