St. Cloud, MN-Goaltender Tyler Bost (2000 Mahwah, NJ) has been promoted to the St. Cloud Blizzard (NAHL). The Blizzard play in the North American Hockey League which is the only Tier 2 Junior League sanctioned under USA Hockey. Tyler played three games for the Jr. Warriors recording a 1-2 record with a combined 67 saves in those three games. The lone win came against the highly talented and well coached CT. Roughriders at the Eastern Hockey League showcase at our own Haverhill Valley Forum in front of 45 NCAA coaches. "There were 8 NCAA schools lined up to speak with Tyler after that game against the Roughriders. I knew he was a player that would be highly sought after" Said Jr Warrior GM & Head Coach Ryan McGrath. McGrath goes onto say "I know Blizzard Assistant coach Casey Mignone from when he was the assistant coach at Johnson & Wales (NCAA D3 NEHC). When he called and asked if I knew of any goalies that could make the jump I didn't hesitate to recommend Tyler"
Bost enjoyed his brief time with the Jr. Warriors "My time with the Valley Jr. Warriors was awesome! Coach McGrath runs a professional organization. He could not have been more accommodating and supportive to me. The amount of ice time available to the players is way more than most junior teams offer. Specifically for goalies, the goaltender coach, Cam Doomany was always accessible for training and the guys in the locker room were great!"
The Valley Jr. Warriors would like to wish Tyler all the best in his ice hockey career!
