VALLEY JR. WARRIORS - JUNIORS
Biddle Commits to Skidmore College

Warriors Defenseman Set to Join Thoroughbreds this Fall

HAVERHILL, MA -- Joe Biddle, a defenseman for the Valley Jr Warriors, has committed to Skidmore College for the fall of 2021.

The 2000-born native of Andover, MA spent last season with Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) in the Northeast-10 Conference (NE-10). When the NE-10 was unable to start on time, Biddle made the decision to come play juniors in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL), and keep developing as a player.

"Joe has done a tremendous job for us this year, and despite being a defenseman, he has led our offensive attack all season long," said Warriors head coach and general manager Ryan McGrath.

To McGrath's point, Biddle's 20 total points leads the way on the Warriors' scoring chart, with eight goals and 12 assists in 19 total games.

Looking forward, Biddle is one of three current EHL players that will be heading to Skidmore this fall. When he arrives on campus he will be joined by Zach Lidenwirth of the New Jersey 87s and Blaine Moore of the Seahawks Hockey Club.

Overall, this year's class of commits brings the EHL up to 13 total players that have chosen the Thoroughbreds' program since the league was formed back in 2013.
